{"id":107,"date":"2008-11-02T20:13:09","date_gmt":"2008-11-03T03:13:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/chasingeden.com\/?p=107"},"modified":"2008-11-02T20:15:28","modified_gmt":"2008-11-03T03:15:28","slug":"my-weekend","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/chasingeden.com\/?p=107","title":{"rendered":"My weekend"},"content":{"rendered":"\t<p>I went home for the weekend and saw some old friends.\u00a0 Jason had a party at his new house.\u00a0 I hadn&#8217;t seen most of those people since college or a little after.\u00a0 Everyone is always the same mostly, except a little heavier, a little more wrinkled, a little less willing to get piss drunk (myself included).\u00a0 I talked a lot about people&#8217;s kids and their marriage.\u00a0 I liked it for the most part.<\/p>\n\t<p>I wore a Halloween costume I last wore in graduate school in 2001 I think.\u00a0 Its a pimp outfit with leather pants, a white fedora, and a really tight shiny shirt.\u00a0 Its ridiculous but fun.\u00a0 I was still able to get into the pants, but I couldn&#8217;t button the shirt anymore&#8230;not even close.\u00a0 In fact, I wonder how I ever got into it.<\/p>\n\t<p>Jason seemed good.\u00a0 Its strange that so many of my friends are divorced now.\u00a0 Actually, I guess its just two of them that are&#8230;but hey, how many close friends can someone have?\u00a0 Two is actually a large percentage.<\/p>\n\t<p>The next night I went to see Josh after shopping all day with my mom.\u00a0 I bought this really cool piece of furniture that I don&#8217;t really need.<\/p>\n\t<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/chasingeden.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/img_0247.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-108\" title=\"new tv stand\" src=\"http:\/\/chasingeden.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/img_0247.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" srcset=\"http:\/\/chasingeden.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/img_0247.jpg 1600w, http:\/\/chasingeden.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/11\/img_0247-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n\t<p>I&#8217;m going to use it as a TV stand because I can&#8217;t figure out any other place to put it.<\/p>\n\t<p>Anyway, Josh was good.\u00a0 His kids are super cute.\u00a0 He was really drunk by the time I got there at 7 having watched the Clemson game.\u00a0 You know he&#8217;s drunk when he starts talking about how good we were at basketball.\u00a0 I admit its a fun conversation, since we <strong><em>were<\/em><\/strong> pretty good&#8230;but let&#8217;s face it:\u00a0 I couldn&#8217;t throw a basketball in the ocean now&#8230;and if I could I&#8217;d probably hurt my back doing it.<\/p>\n\t<p>I used to swear up and down I&#8217;d never have the &#8220;used to be&#8221;
